Sharing The Spare - Not Just A Catch Phrase Anymore.

Every RAC® site we have in operation today has saved money by not purchasing that emergency curcuit board, drive, motor, etc. Where the customer might have just ordered an emergency spare in a machine-down situation, the RAC® Coordinator first consulted the database and found the spare they needed, usually in another part of the plant. Many times, they found the spare they needed in another, neighboring plant, because the sites had been linked through RAC® to share the spare.
